ALAMO — Dyer County Cross Country traveled to Crockett County Tuesday evening to compete in the Crockett County Invitational, where Bailey Halliburton continued her strong start to the season. Halliburton led the way for the Lady Choctaws, finishing 14th out of 60 runners in the girls race. The performance follows another impressive outing for Halliburton at the Union City Invitational, where she also placed 14th, that time in a field of 79 runners. Her back-to-back top-15 finishes have provided Dyer County with consistent results early in the season. Halliburton and the Choctaws will look to continue building on their early-season performances as the cross country schedule moves into September.
